Findlay/Hanock County’s Financial Opportunity Center
The Foundation donated 31 refurbished laptops to Habitat of Findlay/Hancock County’s Financial Opportunity Center. The Center builds good financial habits, and breaks down financial and career goals into practical, obtainable steps. Findlay/Hancock County became an official Habitat for Humanity International, Inc. affiliate on August 1, 1999.
Why this organization? The Center has increased its participants’ credit score by an average 35 points and helped increase their average monthly income by $726.09.

Women’s Money Matters (formerly Budget Buddies)
Founded in 2010, it builds the financial wellness, confidence, and security of women and girls living on low-income women and girls through a unique program that combines instructional workshops and personal, one-to-one coaching.
Why WMW? It has served 1,084 women in Massachusetts, many in transitional homes. Why women? Because there is a financial literacy gap between men and women.
